The Program
Class Dads Program
(Being a Class Dad is a Class Act)
This program is being developed to enhance and enrich the learning experience of the children at Head Middle School. The program will focus on male parent involvement in the classroom. We believe that the lack of parental involvement is one of the dominate reasons why some children misbehave in school. It is a known fact that the requested presence of parents in the classroom will improve the behavior of all the children.
The presence of a “Class Dad” will most likely increase the time that the teacher spends teaching, which translates into a higher quality of education for all the children. This program will not only benefit the children of Class Dads, but also the children whose fathers are unable to participate in their child’s education. Therefore, all the children will have the opportunity to take advantage of and benefit from the presence, participation and positive encouragement of the Class Dads.
It is my desire that Head Middle School would become a successful launching pad for the “Class Dads Program,” this would allow all the children of Middle Tennessee schools to reap the benefits of parental involvement in the classroom. Your time and consideration to this program is appreciated.
Thank you,
